The Ramona High School ROP Advisory Committee is strongly involved in planning programs and evaluating and contributing to the successes of the Ramona High School Automotive Technologies Program's efforts. Committee representatives from business, labor, organizations, college instructors and former students, because of their knowledge of the occupations related to our courses, provide valuable advice, guidance and assistance. Our Advisory Committee provides up-to-date information on current trends and technologies and makes recommendations for the development and improvement of the program. Members of the Committee also are present and support students at award ceremonies for winning SkillsUSA, Cuyamaca, New York and Ford AAA competitions. The Automotive Technologies Program has also gained tremendous support from their school's Administration including the school's principal, Mr. Tony Newman; the ROP Director, Mike Gallion; other department Chairs, the In-Syte Program for at-risk students, and the Career Awareness Program.
