Checking Out a Chromebook
All students will be required to have a device at school daily when we return to in-person learning. Students have the option to bring their own device or checkout a school Chromebook. For more information on checking out a Chromebook as well as insurance information, please click here. If you have any issues with your school assigned Chromebook please email Emily Lane.
Updating Chromebooks
Some of the Chromebooks have not been able to do an update since March, and may have issues connecting to Canvas. Here are the steps to update the OS:
Click the bottom right corner of the Chrome OS desktop. Select the Settings icon. Click About Chrome. Click Check for updates. To apply the update, click the arrow icon and select Restart to Update.
*** If chrome book states it is up to date but the number is lower than 89, we apologize but you will need to return the Chromebook and check out a newer one. We are learning together! The RHS library is open from 8:00-3:00 to exchange for a newer Chromebook. We are extremely sorry! If you have any issues with that time frame, please email cmcdonald@ramonausd.net
